As a wife, mom and organizer, my goal is to empower homeowners to find balance in their homes and minds through organization.

The kitchen is the heart of the home. It’s where the family comes together. However, with so many tools and items, it can easily become cluttered and messy.
A well-organized kitchen not only makes cooking easier and more enjoyable but also helps you save time, money and reduces food waste.
It’s much easier to plan meals and whip up delicious family feasts when the kitchen is clean and organized, and all your essential tools are where they need to be.
I see it all the time with my clients – they blame themselves, their partners, their kids, or lack of time for the chaos in their kitchens, while the real culprit is that they haven’t set up systems that work yet.
The difference between a well-organized kitchen and a messy one is that the former uses organizational bins and tools to ensure everything has a home and is accessible, while the latter tends to have things piled up behind cupboard doors and nothing has a designated spot.
It’s important to note that accessibility isn’t just about proximity — it’s equally important to keep your go-to tools and bins uncluttered and easy to find when you need them.
While you’re working hard to incorporate your new organization tools and create a system that works, consider whether you’re making room for things that matter or things you barely use.
Discard the ones that you use on occasion and broken items or appliances you’re holding on to.
Items in good condition can go to charity where someone else could find a use for it. It will give you the extra space you need, especially if you’re working with a small kitchen.
And while the drawers are empty, give them a quick clean – it’s not often they’ll be clear, so it’s worth making the most of it.
These five must-have items should be at the heart of any great kitchen.
Most people have a dedicated spice cabinet or drawer in their home so take a look at your space and assess the best way to organize yours.
If you’re working with a cabinet, I highly recommend getting a tiered spice rack organizer that allows you to see all your herbs at a glance, even the ones in the back.
In my own kitchen, I have a spice drawer. I transfer all my spices into jars & print labels for the lids. Watch this video to see how I did it.
Drawer organizers are a game-changer. They make it so much easier to access the utensils and cutlery you use on a daily basis and ensure they stay in their place.
You have many options when it comes to drawer organizers, but my favorite are expandable drawer dividers that fit almost anywhere.
Clear bins are my go-to for organizing under-counter cupboards when you have uniform-looking and similar items.
These transparent bins allow you to see all the items at a glance, so if you’re looking for that clean aesthetic, this is what I suggest.
As an alternative, I use opaque bins for organizing items that may not all look the same and carry different packaging.
It’s a quick and easy hack to hide the noise and eliminate visual clutter.
Bins in general keep messes contained if spillage were to happen and that’s why I highly recommend using them when organizing your interior storage units.
I just love using these clear Bormioli glass jars to organize the dry food in my pantry. My friends at Blisshaus introduced them to me and I couldn’t be happier with the result!
Using clear containers makes everything easier to spot (and refill) the whole pantry looks neater and it inspires more creativity when cooking.
Looking for the exact pot or lid I needed used to be a nightmare before I got these expandable pan rack organizers.
I love using them now and recommend them to all my clients as they can fit into any space.
Which one of these 5 items are you going to start with? Drop me a message on my IG or Wechat to let me know.
