While in the west, they celebrate Black Friday, in the east, we have Single’s Day on 11/11. 

The Single’s day tradition started almost 30 years ago with 4 university bachelors looking to celebrate their independence. It soon spread to other universities and by 2009 had become increasingly popular within contemporary Chinese culture and society.

As more people joined in the celebration of this holiday, many companies have taken the opportunity to target consumers and run sales and promotions. 

Nowadays, single’s day is one of the biggest online and offline shopping days in the world. 

As an organizer that promotes minimalism, I don’t condone shopping just for the sake of accumulating items. But if you are looking for things that help streamline your life, 11/11 is the perfect opportunity to get the items you need and get organized for a good price.
