The holidays are a time for reflection, celebration, and connection. At the House of Tan, this year’s Christmas Party was much more than just a festive gathering. It was a chance to bring together the people who make life meaningful—family, friends, and business associates—and to celebrate a year of growth, community, and shared success.

This year’s party felt extra special because it marked the first anniversary of the House of Tan. When we built this clubhouse, the dream was simple: to create a space where people could come together to share not just events, but memories. A year later, seeing it filled with laughter and warmth, that dream feels more alive than ever.

The Heart of the Celebration

The House of Tan Christmas Party wasn’t about grandeur; it was about the moments. We welcomed friends and collaborators into our space to celebrate the season and reflect on all we’ve accomplished together.

One of my favorite parts of the evening was taking a moment to recognize our suppliers. These are the people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make every event unforgettable, and it felt so good to shine a light on their contributions.

Of course, no Christmas party is complete without a little magic for the kids. Santa made a special appearance, and the joy on everyone’s faces as they unwrapped their gifts reminded us all of the simple pleasures of the season.

A Feast to Remember

When it comes to hosting, food is always one of the most important things to get right, and this year, we went all out. Our semi-buffet spread struck the perfect balance between variety and ease, with something for everyone to enjoy.

The star of the menu was our DIY ham carving station—a fun, interactive touch that became an instant hit. Guests had the chance to slice their ham to their liking, adding personalized garnishes and sides for a plate that was as unique as they were.

For those who love to graze and mingle, tapas were the perfect choice. Light, flavorful, and easy to eat while chatting, they brought a relaxed atmosphere to the evening.

Fun, Laughter, and Creativity

Beyond the food and drinks, we wanted the night to feel alive with energy and fun. Our Instaphoto booth was a runaway success, with guests snapping endless photos in front of a festive holiday backdrop. Whether it was a family portrait or a goofy shot with props, each photo captured a memory to take home.

The live band kept spirits high, playing a mix of Christmas classics and upbeat hits that got everyone moving. And for those who enjoy getting hands-on, we set up DIY craft stations where guests could create their own holiday keepsakes or sketches. It was wonderful to see people of all ages diving in and letting their creativity shine.

A Toast to Growth and Gratitude

This year’s party wasn’t just about celebrating the season—it was also a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come. Building the House of Tan was a labor of love, and seeing it evolve into a space that brings so many people together has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

We couldn’t have done it without the support of our clients, staff,  suppliers and partners, and it was important to me to acknowledge them during the celebration. Their hard work and dedication have been a cornerstone of every event we’ve hosted, and this night was as much for them as it was for us.

Wrapping Up with Happy Hour

The night wouldn’t have been complete without a toast (or two). Happy hour was the perfect way to wind down the evening, with a menu of seasonal cocktails and mocktails that added a festive flair.

My personal favorite? The House of Tan Holiday Spritz—a sparkling mix of cranberry, orange, and just the right hint of spice. It paired perfectly with the chatter and laughter of guests savoring the last moments of the evening.

Looking Ahead

As the evening came to a close, I couldn’t help but feel grateful—not just for the beautiful party, but for the people who made it so special. The House of Tan has always been about creating a space where people feel welcome, valued, and connected. This year’s Christmas Party was a perfect reflection of that mission.
