With technology being such a big part of our lives, we need to learn to organize it better. There are so many different gadgets and devices that we use every day, sometimes it’s hard to know where to put them all.

This post will help you get started with organizing your different electronics, chords & varying accessories!

Create a Special Space for All Your Tech

The first thing you should do when working to organize your tech is to create a special area for all of the cords, chargers, and other gadgets you need.

This might be an area that’s in a closet, under the TV stand, or even a small drawer in your dresser.

This makes it easy to quickly find what you need when you need it and puts things back in their proper place after you’re done using them. Using this method also helps keep tiny items from getting lost!

Bundle Your Lose Chords

Next you should look at your cords and cables.

A lot of people have a box full of loose chords that they just shove in a cabinet or leave on their desk.

This can lead to the chords being tangled together and makes it hard to find what you need in a pinch. It also becomes hard to keep track of which chord belongs to which device.

Instead try bundling them together with velcro ties to keep them neat. I use these ones and I love them!

Label Your Cords and Accessories

It is also a great idea to label your cords and accessories so you can find them quickly.

I use a label maker for this purpose and it makes everything a whole lot easier.

You can attach the labels directly to the chords or put them on a small piece of material and then attach that to the chord.

Having these labels will make it easy to store them, find them again when you need them and keep your tech in tip top shape!

Use a Charging Station on Your Desk

When it comes to the cords and accessories that you use on a daily basis, having a designated charging station is a must.

This lets you charge all of your devices at once and keep your desk neat and organized.

Using this method will prevent tangled chords and will also help keep you from losing tiny items like earbuds!

Bonus tip for families with kids – teach your little ones to return their iPads to the charging dock before bed. That way you’ll never have to look for “lost” electronics throughout the house again.

Return Your Items to Their Proper Place

Finally, once you’re done using them, put all gadgets in their right place. Be sure to return everything back to their proper storage and charging station.

This simple step will make it easy to find the things you need when you need them, keeps your home neat and tidy and will prevent items from being lost. Don’t forget that a lot of devices come with smaller attachments that can be easily misplaced, so make sure to put those back too!

Trying out these tips will make sure that you have everything you need to keep your tech organized. You’ll be amazed at how much easier it is to find what you need and keep your gadgets in check.
