As a wife, mom and organizer, my goal is to empower homeowners to find balance in their homes and minds through organization.

My favorite organization case studies are those that highlight how effective and efficient a space can become when all items have a home.
Everyone deserves a beautiful functional space to live, work & play in.
If you’ve been intimidated by the idea of reorganizing your home before, take a look at these inspiring case studies to give you some ideas for how to create a functional and beautiful space.
For this project my mission was to design and implement an organization system that maximizes efficiency, functionality and brings harmony to an otherwise chaotic space.
I organized the shelves by creating zones for materials so that teachers just needed to identify the category of the item they needed.
For the opaque and white boxes, I used a handy trick of taking photos of the contents and sticking them on the outside so that you can identify what’s inside at a glance and without having to pull boxes out.
My client came to me for help as there was no rhyme or reason behind where her facial products were located. This made getting ready in the morning a bit hectic, especially when she was in a rush.
And because the products were scattered everywhere she caught herself repeatedly buying the same thing over and over again.
I started by decluttering items that were well past their prime and check for expired products. I then sorted facial products by category (masks, false eyelashes, hair sprays, sunscreen, lotions, nail polishes, etc.)
I used clear bins for storage as they’re easy to spot what you’re looking for. I finished off by labeling everything.
As a result of this organization, her morning routine has been streamlined and she’s able to quickly find what she needs.
When my client approached me, she thought there was no way we could transform this messy toy closet into a functional, organized space.
Never say never!
I started by removing any item that didn’t belong in the toy closet as well as toys that weren’t played with. That’s right, with the help of her son, we let some toys go.
I then sorted the remaining toys by category to determine their designated spaces.
I was so excited to reorganize this playroom closet with embroidered opaque bins! Sometimes transparent bins can create too much noise for toy storage.
I finished the job by adding labels and voila! The kids can easily find that toy they’ve been looking for while maintaining a beautifully simple & functional storage space.
This bookshelf was in dire need of some TLC. It was messy, cluttered & overall not functional. It also made the room feel smaller than it was.
We decluttered and donated unused books. We kept only the books that the children used on the lower shelves. We then placed all rarely used items on the top shelves.
For the storage bins, I went with a solid clean color to enhance the overall calm aesthetic of the room.
Finally, I left some cubbies open to add picture frames and solo figurines. This makes it look less cluttered and fresh. And of course, I labeled everything!
The projects highlighted above illustrate how simple design principles and organizational strategies can come together to make a functional, productive space that is both attractive and long-lasting.
