A little-known celebration is coming up but it is one that I look forward to every year. On April 26th, we celebrate ‘Get Organized’ Day!
‘Get Organized’ Day is a time to celebrate the practice of home and office organization. While getting organized may seem like a daunting task at first, research has shown that it enhances productivity and is closely linked with happiness, health, and restfulness.
In an uncertain world with frequent up and downs, our living spaces become our sanctuaries, and as such we all must learn how to best maintain them.
Organization can bring us serenity, and help us avoid chaotic clutter that leads to disorganization in other areas of our lives.
On April 26th, I invite you to take the time to assess your space. Make a plan and put systems into place to maintain your cleanliness. It will lead to a happier, healthier you!
Simplify, Streamline, Sustain
Getting organized is a process of simplifying your to-do list, streamlining the way you clean and systematize your home, and then sustaining your efforts long-term.
This newly-organized life will ultimately lead to more energy, less clutter, and more time to do what you love.
This April 26, take a proactive approach and put ideas down on paper on how you will accomplish these goals in the coming months.
Get a head start today with my 14-day get-organized challenge. It will kickstart your organization journey and give you a taste of how fun and rewarding a clean home can be.
