Welcome to the Sports Bar at the House of Tan, a lively and inviting space I designed for all-day dining and socializing.
This room masterfully combines comfort, functionality, and rich storytelling, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely lunch, a casual dinner, or just some snacks and coffee throughout the day.

One of the most striking features of the sports bar is the wall art displaying “1965,” crafted from Skechers golf balls. This year marks the founding of the Luen Thai Group, a significant milestone in our family’s history.
I believe it’s important to tell a story when creating an art piece for any space. The choice of Skechers golf balls reflects the brand’s association with sports apparel and accessories, adding an element of heritage to the artwork.
This art piece not only serves as a visual centerpiece but also encapsulates a narrative of legacy and innovation, reminding us of our journey and achievements over the decades.
When designing your own spaces, always remember that lighting plays a crucial role in a room’s ambiance. For the ceiling fixtures in the Sports Bar, I for a contemporary look that provides ample illumination while adding a stylish touch. The warm lighting creates a cozy environment, making the space feel welcoming and comfortable for all-day dining.
The geometric patterned flooring adds a dynamic visual element to the room. The blend of black, white, and wood tones provides a modern yet cozy feel, grounding the eclectic mix of furnishings and decor.
The seating arrangements include a mix of sofas, armchairs, and bar stools, offering a variety of options for comfort. Using natural materials and neutral tones in the furniture enhances the room’s relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
The bar area stands out with its sleek design and functional layout. The combination of the modern wood bar stools, a clean white marble countertop, and a well-organized back bar with shelves stocked up creates a perfect spot for guests to unwind with a drink or a cup of coffee.

In the same way we incorporated plants in the family room, touches of greenery are strategically placed throughout the sports bar, adding a fresh and vibrant feel.
The plants not only enhance the visual appeal but also contribute to the room’s overall sense of liveliness and energy.
The layout of the sports bar is designed to accommodate both small and large groups. The partitioned areas allow for flexibility, enabling us to host various events, from intimate gatherings to more extensive celebrations.

Multiple TV screens are strategically placed so that guests can enjoy live sports events from any corner of the room. The combination of comfortable seating and excellent visibility makes it an ideal spot for sports fans.
